once upon a time, i had heart. in this heart was a picture. in that picture was all my hopes and dreams. one day it ran away. Leaving me cold and naked on the floor. never to warm my chest again. so i built this wall. took years but now it stands. Strong, lasting thru the seasons. soon, this wall began to chip and crack. i could see the world around me once again. through the holes and cracks, i thought i saw my heart. running free through the fields. so i ran after it, with a desperate need. remembering all my hopes and dreams. overwhelmed i began to weep. happiness was just a few steps away. once again in hand. a man came along and stole it from my grasp. as i chased him, i ran as hard as i could. but he was too fast. so once again, i waved goodbye to all i held dear. with defeat, i hid behind my giant wall. i had given up all hope. til the day i got a letter. post marked from my heart. it had missed me. as much as i had missed it with the fiber of my being. so i began a journey for my dreams. crossing oceans, mountains, and deserts. i had begun to lose hope once again. suddenly,i reached my destination. victorious, my heart ran to me. climbing back within my chest, my mind was put to rest. so i sewed it back up and through away the key. guarding it until the day i die. no one will ever get to it. my treasure, my dreams.
